I’ve made it to the Quarterfinals of the Texas Forensic Association state tournament in both years of high school and qualified for both the Gold division of the national Tournament of Champions and NSDA Nationals, each time with different partners. I’ve also been invited to the Kandi King and Florida Blue Key Round Robins, invite-only tournaments for the top 16 debaters in the nation. Aside from my personal success, I’ve also coached numerous debaters who have won everything from regional championships to first prize for debate at the international World Scholar’s Cup against 12,000 other students. 

 

Attending KSDA was one of the best decisions I made for my debate career. In junior high, Ms. Luu and her dedicated coaches took me from not breaking at local tournaments to becoming the Extemporaneous Speaking State Champion, all within a year. As someone who has attended numerous debate programs both locally and online, I can confidently recommend KSDA to any aspiring young debater; their expertise, care, rigor, and experience are all unmatched.
